Utah Humanities
Utah Humanities is an independent nonprofit founded in 1975 that strengthens Utah communities by cultivating connections, deepening understanding, and exploring our complex human experience. Its public programming spans literature, heritage, education, and civic dialogue, engaging thousands of Utahns each year through book festivals, writing competitions, heritage workshops, and community conversations.
Collective Tales Publishing
Collective Tales Publishing is an independent press co-owned by Elizabeth Suggs (Utah Horror x Romance Day Organizer) and Jonathan Reddoch, publishing genre fiction across romance, science fiction, fantasy, and horror. Its releases include thematic anthology collections such as Collective Chaos, Collective Humanity, Collective Fantasy, Collective Darkness, and Collective Visions.
Whisper House Press
Whisper House Press is an independent horror press founded and run by Utah Horror x Romance Day organizer Steve Capone Jr. — “mundane horror for the people,” bringing the Kafkaesque terrors of the everyday to readers. WHP is committed to empowering diverse voices, radical transparency and fairness, and celebrating human creativity. Pubs include Costs of Living, Dread Mondays, and Ghoul.
